As a result of the hard work and support of committed, like-minded voters, I've been elected.
I am now, and always will be grateful, not just for those who voted for me but also for those people who care enough to actively participate even if they didn't vote for me. The passionate desire for positive change is our most valuable resource. Together, we'll tackle the details.
It's no secret that we're facing unprecedented fiscal challenges. As such, we're poised to affect unprecedented improvement.I'm anxious and excited to get to the important hard work. To borrow a phrase, "not because it is easy but because it is hard".
My pledge to you is that I'll remain the approachable, active-listening, compassionately industrious person that you elected. I am very much looking forward to serving you with loyalty, transparency and due diligence. Onwards and Upwards!
